We Need to Talk is an experiment developed during a residency at Lìzé Puppet Art Colony in Taiwan in 2023. abandoned ships is happy to share the next iteration in the development of this piece which explores storms as language, mistranslation and who gets to control the narrative. Through clown, object theatre, table top and shadow puppetry, this vignette examines how our own behavioral patterns are affecting our ability to learn and translate the stories created by changing weather patterns. 30 minutes.
